Jessel Vencencie is an experienced automotive professional with over 20 years in the industry. He currently holds the position of Engineering Manager at PWR, where he leads and manages various areas, including Product Design, Tooling Design, Automation, and Special Projects. Jessel is dedicated to driving project, process, and quality improvements to achieve operational excellence within the organization.

Jessel’s automotive journey began in 2001 at Delta Motor Corporation in South Africa, where he started as a Garage Technician. Throughout his career, he has held various engineering roles, showcasing his expertise and dedication. He was promoted to Powertrain Group Manager in 2006 and gained international experience when General Motors took over Delta Motor Corporation in 2004.

Recognized for his focus on product development, Jessel was selected for a 3-year international assignment at Isuzu Motors in Japan in 2008. He returned to South Africa in 2010 and continued his career within the Technical Operations division. Jessel remained with the organization, assuming the role of Vehicle Engineering Manager. In December 2022, Jessel relocated to the Gold Coast, Australia, and joined PWR as the Engineering Manager. He holds a Mechanical Engineering qualification and actively pursues leadership development programs to foster continuous growth and learning.

Jessel has been recognized for his contributions and has actively engaged in industry-level initiatives. Notably, he served as a representative member of the Fuel and Emission Technical Work Group Committee at a National OEM level (NAAMSA TC) from 2006 to 2008. In this role, he played an instrumental part in supporting clean fuel development in collaboration with the petroleum industry, which was regulated by the government.

Jessel firmly believes in the words of Albert Einstein: “When you stop learning, you start dying.” This philosophy resonates with him as he strives to expand his knowledge and skill set in all areas of the business. With his unwavering dedication, extensive experience, and passion for engineering, Jessel is committed to driving excellence and success at PWR Advanced Cooling Technology.
