Red Bull Racing Honda Driver Max Verstappen Wins the 2021 Drivers’ World Championship

The entire team at PWR would like to extend a massive congratulations to Red Bull Racing Honda driver Max Verstappen and the Red Bull Racing Honda team on winning the 2021 Formula 1 Drivers World Championship. After 22 races, in one of F1’s most dramatic seasons, it all came down to the final lap of the Yas Marina Circuit that saw Max clinch the title with a 58th lap pass on 7-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton.

The 24-year-old became F1’s first non-Mercedes title winner in the hybrid turbo era (which began in 2014). He also gave Honda their first championship since Ayrton Senna won in 1991.

‘Red Bull Racing Honda’

“It has been a great competition this season and for Max to win the World Championship, it is not just about the race here, it is about the whole year and how incredible and consistent he has been as a driver. All credit to Lewis too, he has been a phenomenal opponent all year and a great World Champion, he has been formidable and that is what makes it even more of a monumental achievement to win this. We congratulate Mercedes on a hard-fought campaign and claiming the Constructors’ title.

‘PWR Advanced Cooling Technology’

This season has been nothing short of incredible and PWR are extremely proud to provide World Championship winning cooling solutions to the Red Bull Honda team. Huge congratulations as well to Honda for their contribution of the power unit to make a World Championship win possible.

As the 2021 Formula 1 season draws to a close, PWR wishes all the teams best of luck for an exciting 2022 season as the F1 car regulations receive one of its biggest technical overhauls in many years for next season.
